Chef Oscar Mendivil brings over 20 years of culinary experience to his Powder Springs bistro. Originally from Sonora, Mexico, Oscar discovered his passion for cooking at a young age, helping in his family’s kitchen and his mother’s restaurant. He later trained professionally at the Arizona Culinary Institute and honed his skills with the Ritz-Carlton in California, Houston, and Los Angeles.
After relocating to Atlanta, Chef Oscar made his mark with food trucks, taquerias, and private dining experiences before opening his own bistro — a warm, welcoming space where classic technique meets seasonal flavors. His menus reflect a deep respect for simple, honest cooking, elevated with thoughtful details and heartfelt hospitality.
